Why can’t we be nice to each other?

A few days ago a sniper opened fire on police in Dallas, days before that video of a police offer shooting someone was on the internet, and the list goes on and on in what feels like an endless loop. Today, someone killed a lot of people in Nice with a truck.

I just wish that the human race could be nicer to each other. Why can’t we just do battle in Pokemon GO or wage our wars via Starcraft 2 or something? These battles can decide the fate of whatever it was we were fighting over in the first place.

We are living in interesting times. I offer no solutions to our problems. I will just try to be more mindful. I will be more considerate to all, especially to those with whom I disagree.

I hope we don’t bring war to Mars in the future.
