Science is just a method to understand things. It’s a way to think and approach problems.

You cite, “ But if science attempts to answer all the questions we’d ever have, how then can you answer questions like “What is the purpose of life?” There’s not much science can tell you. Is our purpose in life to reproduce and prosper? Or is it contribute to society? Or is there no purpose at all?”

Science is not a conscious person. Science does not attempt to answer any questions. Science is like a hammer or an ax. It can build or it can cut, but without someone to use it then it is just a tool.

People want to answer all the questions. People are the ones who decide to use science or religion to answer the questions they construct.

Your issue is with people not with science.

Science’s limitations are really the limitations of the people who utilize it. Our limitations are the ones we place on ourselves and each other.
