We were both attending a book reading and signing by Colin Powell. We sat next to each other during the reading and afterwards we kept mingling and talking. You were very against foreign intervention in the middle east and thought that they should work problems out on their own. I was the opposite and said that strong intervention was needed to mitigate tribal warfare tendencies of over proportional responses. You told me you were doing a PhD at Georgetown and I would love to argue with you again over drinks or coffee. Message me if you remember where I work, what I was wearing, and my opinion on decaf coffee.
